As the national standards body, SIST plays an important part in educating standards users. With the participation of experts from different areas of standardization we organize seminars and workshops, all compiled in the Calendar of Education Events.
Our education events are intended for both the SIST members and other economic operators, SMEs, sole traders, and all those who believe that knowledge is the key to success in an increasingly competitive market.
SIST brings together about 600 Slovenian experts from different sectors, who are actively involved in the work of our Technical Committees. This represents an invaluable pool of technical knowledge that we share with the participants of our education events, since many experts also participate as lecturers in our seminars and workshops. We also cooperate with experts from other national, European and international institutions in preparing the contents of education events.
It is our objective to familiarize the users with the latest information and developments in individual standardization sectors and the legislation, and to contribute – through transfer of knowledge, exchange of experiences and identification of new needs – to the development of the Slovenian industry, and to the competitiveness of Slovenian businesses, institutions and organizations on the European and global markets.
