The SIST
Inquiry Point will respond to all inquiries given in writing, which refer
to: standardization documents, conformity assessment procedures and
technical regulations in force in the Republic of Slovenia and abroad.
Should SIST not dispose of the requested information, or when this could not
be found in the databases used by SIST, the relevant institutions in
Slovenia or abroad will be contacted for advice on how to get the requested
information. The customer will receive a response in either case, even if
the requested information has not been found. The average response time for
topical inquiries is 3 days.
When
searching for an answer, additional information from the customer will often
be necessary; therefore the name and details of a contact person should be
given for the case of difficulties in searching. Good-quality hits can only
be obtained when the inquiries are precisely formulated and provided with
selected key words and phrases in English or German, when possible.
