The Institute for Standardization provides free answers to questions regarding its performance and activities.

The Inquiry Point will only give brief, free responses by phone to topical inquiries (questions about standardization documents, conformity assessment procedures and technical regulations).

All documents kept by the Standards Library are free at sight in the Institute's reading room. Some publications (except standards) can be obtained through interlibrary loan. The librarian as well as the Inquiry Point's staff are at your disposal for any advice or technical assistance regarding the documents you are studying.

Information by phone regarding the accessibility and validity of standards is also provided free of charge by the Sales Department.
