| Technical working bodies (TWBs) are bodies who perform technical assignments within the Slovenian Institute for Standardization. TWBs include: -
technical committees - TCs, The main assignment of a technical committee is to prepare Slovenian national standards and other standardization documents, while project groups only prepare standardization documents of a lower status than standards (i.e. technical specifications, guides and technical reports). TWBs must observe in their work the principles of quality assurance in line with the Institute's quality policy. International participation of TWBs TWBs participate in the preparation of European and international standardization documents, Comments are sent exclusively via the relevant TWB, when this exists. A TWB appoints technical experts and a leader of the delegation to participate in a European/international TC, SC or WG. The leader of the delegation shall vote in accordance with the TWB's policy. When an appropriate TWB has not been set up, the relevant Technical Board may appoint technical experts, who shall respect the general rules for participation of technical experts in European/international committees.
